Concession Agreement for Luka Kotor signed

Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs, Osman Nurković and the President of the Board of the Port of Kotor, Branko Ivanović, today signed a Concession Agreement for Luka Kotor. AD "Luka Kotor" has been awarded the first concession for a period of 12 years. A business plan for a period of 12 years is planned to invest in infrastructure and surplus over € 5 million.

The Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurković met today with representatives of Abu Dhabi Ports from the United Arab Emirates to discuss the initiative and interest of this company for the valorization of potential AD "Luka Bar". Nurković initially underlined the position of the Government of Montenegro and the relevant ministry that the potential of our largest port is insufficiently exploited and that it needs a credible partner that will adequately position this port in the international market, primarily through the development of the port in accordance with its not only existing but also opportunities that it would have after investing.
