Upon the invitation of the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Indonesia Mr. Ignasius Jonan, Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Mr. Ivan Brajović participated in the Ministerial Meeting titled: „Strengthening Developing Countries Partnership on Capacity Building for Civil Aviation: No Country Left Behind“, which was held in Bali (Indonesia), from 30 to 31 May 2016.

Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Mr. Ivan Brajović and his associates have today visited the Moračica Camp on the occasion of pouring concrete into foundation pits of the eponymous bridge to officially mark the commencement of construction works on that particular structure. Moračica Bridge and Vjeternik Tunnel are considered to be one of the most challenging structures of the Bar-Boljare highway’s priority section Smokovac-Uvač-Mateševo.

The Ministers of Transport of Montenegro, Mr. Ivan Brajović; Kosovo, Mr. Lutfi Zharku and Albania, Mr. Edmond Haxhinasto, have met today in Shkodra, Albania, to coordinate work on the joint action plan of the respective countries in enhancing connectivity in the WB6 region, through the implementation of a set of regional and national “soft measures” in order to have a productive high-level Summit, on 4 July in Paris, as part of the Berlin Process.

The Invitation for Expressions of Interest for Local Roads Reconstruction and Upgrade Project

The Government of Montenegro intends using the proceeds of the loan towards the cost of Local Roads Reconstruction and Upgrade Project. Executive Agency is the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs (MoTMA) represented by the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) within its Transport Directorate. The project is subject to the EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules. The main objective of this assignment shall be the Supervision of the Civil Works on the: • Reconstruction of the 11.5 km long section from Lubnice to Jelovica, plus an additional length of approximately 1.4 km of the new road between Jelovica and Jezerine; • Construction of a new realigned section 3.5 km long between Jelovica and Jezerine that includes a new 2.9 km long single bore road tunnel, and a 100m long bridge.
